I’m in my final year and really struggling with java programming since my first year. But I managed to get a pass, at least. But that won’t be enough if I want to get a higher gpa point. please any advice? suggestions? maybe tips on how to study programming efffectively?

Practice well. Thats the only way.
In Java? I’d advice you to learn proper object oriented design. I’m not saying you can’t do that, but if you really can’t, it would be good to start now.
Java is really easy and fun, I’d suggest you start by some online tutorials and don’t try to complicate it too much
Also whenever you have 15~20minutes of free time go on netbeans/eclipse and do something
Also invent some project to make over the semester, I myself made a tictactoe that can be played online, if you need the code mail me
Practice a lot.
Make different programs for yourself, exploring different technologies. Code, code and code some more. It is the only real way to learn programming in any language.
just try to revise the course which u have studied. or you can take the advice from you teachers.
Ask questions if you don’t understand.
Read and understand concepts in your textbook.
Do the programming exercises.
